Potential New Friend

I recently purchased the book Guru about Del Close used from Amazon. I just opened it up today and was super-excited to find out that someone named Josh had written their number in the back of the book. I can't wait to finish the book so I can call Josh and talk about it. I hope that's why he or someone else wrote his number there.

Today's Big Thing

Hi Internet,

Today during the course of daily promotion of the site I submitted this video to Fark. It got accepted, which I'm excited about. But the really funny part is the Fark comment thread. Of, currently, 191 posts, probably 160 of them are about a typo I made in the headline.

I'm looking for someone to be my web development guru that I can go to with questions and who won't think it's annoying. I'm going to start working on a super-secret, fun idea I had a couple months ago and the first step is for me to get better at web design than building everything with tables. I'm excited about this video because it's the first Hardly Working I've been involved with in a long time, because I'm the thumbnail, and because my face is also the thumbnail on digg. I feel like I'm bragging when I tell people this was job-related.
